Feindish Football Fever

As the country goes Football Mad with the World cup imminent then there is nothing more I can do than succumb to the madness and offer some suggestions for great football books to read!

Where do I start though as there are so many to choose from.. well...

I can offer you the chance to have three football books plus a special wall chart poster for just £6.99 courtesy of a publisher contact.  The books are Damian Drooth Superslooth 'Football Forgery', a football joke book and Football Fever by Sophie Smiley, just contact me in the library if you are interested.

As well as this I can recommend some great Horrid Henry titles from the Football Fiend to a very special pack complete with jokes and even cards.  Then there are of course the Foul Football books for lots of great facts and fascinating information.

However if football is most defiantely not your thing then there are plenty more great books waiting to be read and my favourite one so far this week is most certainly The Chosen One by Carol Lynch Williams, a compelling book for older readers, accessible and powerful most definately one to try!
