First Downsend Junior School Christingle Day: A real success!
Posted on 14 December 2011 in Junior School Council by Ljubica Carmody
On Tuesday, 13th December, the Junior School Councillors led a special Junior School Christingle Assembly.
The Juniors learnt about the importance of the Christingle for Christians at Christmas and then made beautiful Christingles.

The Junior School was a truly wonderful festive place to be in on Tuesday, with all the red ribbon and aromatic scent of fresh oranges, dry fruits and cloves. The festivities were a reminder of the meaning of Christmas.
Well done Juniors for such a lovely assembly!
