YEAR 6 TRIP - DAY FOUR
Posted on 12 May 2010 in School Trip Blog by Gappies
Once again the group woke up to clear sky and sunshine and headed off for breakfast. The morning activities began with even more fears being faced on the catwalk, trapeze and ladder climb, and new skills learnt in archery and fencing.
The group then met for their lunch and were given their itinerary for the afternoon, with half the group setting off on the 15 minute walk to the rock pooling beach nearby, and the other half remaining on sight to begin their afternoon activities.
The rock pooling was a great success with many different sea creatures found and examined, allowing the children to learn all about the ecosystem of the beach.
It was then dinner time for the group, after which the preparations for the disco began, with the boys dressing up in their best cuffs and collars, and the girls in their best frocks. The disco began with fantastic group dances and an exciting limbo contest that even saw Mr Keep straining his way under the limbo bar. The children then headed to bed so they were ready for the journey home tomorrow.
