Welcome to our Lodges

Downsend introduces children to the important world of learning in the happy, caring and supportive environment of our three nursery/pre-preparatory departments or Lodges. Conveniently situated in Ashtead, Epsom and Leatherhead, each has its own Headteacher and staff and caters for girls and boys from the age of 2 to 6 years.

We offer the same warm, friendly welcome to all of our pupils and their parents. The children are taught in small classes by a well-qualified and dedicated staff who can devote time to the specific needs of the individual.

We pride ourselves in presenting each child with opportunities to achieve their potential in all areas of the curriculum, preparing them for a happy and successful progression towards the next stage of their education at our Junior School.
