In addition to the feedback and comments you will receive from the teachers, we would also like to touch base with parents. A teacher or teaching assistant will make a phone call to each family on a fortnightly basis. We hope that this will offer parents an opportunity to share their thoughts about their children’s learning and wellbeing.
Pastoral class sessions will be introduced to the weekly timetable once everyone has settled back into the ‘home school’ routine. The platform that we will be using for these live sessions is ‘G-Suite for Education’. This is currently in the process of being set up and going through our Cognita security checks. Each child will be asked to attend one pastoral class session held each week. These sessions will be at a fixed time and will be booked through our current parent booking system. A link will then appear as an announcement in Seesaw for you to access the session at your requested time.
Pastoral concerns or queries It is important that pupils and parents know that we are here to support them during our Online Teaching and Learning Programme. If you have any pastoral or wellbeing concerns, please contact Emma Duke at firstname.lastname@example.org
