We are all very excited to be back at school after our Easter break. The summer term is another exciting term with a huge variety of different experiences and opportunities to engage, inspire and develop our children.
This term sees our extra-curricular clubs offer extending to include Rising Reception with gardening, Ready Steady Go kids, arts and crafts, ballet, mini crickets, performing arts, cookery, engineering and forest club for children to choose from.
We are looking forward to International Week in May, and a wide range of trips and visits to enrich our curriculum such as Ladyland Farm, Wisley and local visits into Epsom.
This half term First Steps will be learning about animals, Rising Reception will be learning about minibeasts, Reception will be learning about dinosaurs and Year 1 will be learning about our local area. Teachers will also be starting to prepare their classes for transition to the next year group ready for September.
However, we are most excited about being able to get into our outdoor learning areas more as the weather improves and to use our woodland garden. Hopefully by the end of the Summer term we will be eating vegetables we have grown in our garden.
It’s going to be another busy term!
