The Creative Arts Centre
The Creative Arts Centre provides a multi-purpose 200 seat performance auditorium, flexible teaching spaces and specialist facilities for Drama and Music. The suite of spaces includes a black box drama and dance studio, a recording studio and spaces that will enable a variety of music practices, alongside dressing rooms, props storage and a first-floor control room.
All four schools in the Downsend family will benefit from use of the centre and our pupils will have the enviable experience of staging productions in a tailor-made setting.

Each Little Downsend is perfectly equipped for our littlest people.
Located within attractive Victorian townhouses, each school has a character of its own with a warm and welcoming family feeling.
Large, well equipped classrooms, outdoor learning areas and spacious playgrounds and fields make Little Downsend the perfect place for learning whilst playing.
Over £10m has been invested to create brand new spaces including: Creative Arts Centre, five Science Laboratories, Design and Technology Studio, Art and Textiles Studios, breakout areas, a Food Tech room, libraries and IT suites.
Early in 2023 further investment will be made by creating an additional Senior School building adjacent to Howard House, creating even more modern, fresh teaching spaces for our GCSE pupils.
