The Creative Arts Centre
Our brand new Creative Arts Centre is the jewel in the crown of Downsend School.
The Creative Arts Centre provides a multi-purpose 200 seat performance auditorium, flexible teaching spaces and specialist facilities for Drama and Music. The suite of spaces includes a black box drama and dance studio, a recording studio and spaces that will enable a variety of music practices, alongside dressing rooms, props storage and a first-floor control room.
All four schools in the Downsend family will benefit from use of the centre and our pupils will have the enviable experience of staging productions in a tailor-made setting.
