Every family is different, so we offer flexible wraparound care that can be adapted to fit your lifestyle. From Early Birds to Little Lates and Extended Day, we offer a range of options to suit your circumstances.
Before School
Early Birds.
Little Downsend Ashtead is open for Early Birds from 7:30am until 8:30am. You do not need to book Early Birds and it is included within your fees.
Parents are able to use Early Birds on an ad hoc basis by just arriving at school during this time. Children are supervised both inside and outside depending on the weather.
After School
Little Lates and Extended Day.
Little Lates runs until 4pm. You do not need to book in advance and there is no additional charge. Activities at Little Lates change depending on the day, the number of children and the weather but will include supervised play, games, reading and garden time.
Extended Day runs until 6pm. We are happy to take ad hoc bookings for Extended Day at short notice, subject to staffing. We ask you to book a place by lunchtime on the same day. Extended Day is charged at £15 and includes a light tea.
Holiday Club
Downsend Early Years Plus.
Our nursery operates on a 'term time + holiday club' basis. This means that we run like a school, with set term dates, but in the holidays we run our holiday club, Downsend Early Years Plus. We find that parents like the flexibility of being able to book holiday club on an ad hoc basis as it is 'pay-as-you-go' and therefore means you can book for as many, or as few, days as suits your family.
