0-2s Early Years Educators

We are looking for qualified L3 EY practitioners, ideally experienced working with under 2s, to join our fantastic, supportive school and to help us shape and create our new 0-2 provision, taking responsibility under the guidance of the 0-2s teacher for the learning, development and compliance aspects of this age range. The salary is very competitive in the EY sector – please contact us to find out the salary details.

This is a full year role (25 days annual leave plus Christmas and Bank Holidays), 5 days a week, with hours to be confirmed but within 7.45am until 6.00pm daily to ensure full cover for our wraparound care. Hours can be negotiated but do need to include an early start and/or late finish.

Gap Year Students

Downsend is an innovative, forward-thinking independent school, for children aged two to sixteen. At Downsend, we prepare children for the future with a creative and problem-solving approach to learning that inspires young minds.

Gap Students play an important role at Downsend in supporting the staff and pupils around the school. This is a great opportunity to get some school experience and increase your confidence before moving on to your next role or university.

School Minibus Driver

We are looking to appoint a minibus driver able to drive our 16-seater minibus providing home to school transport for our pupils who live in the Stoneleigh, Epsom and Epsom Downs areas. The Route and timings for the morning and afternoon runs can be found on our transport page.

The role is based at our main site in Leatherhead and is a term time only role but there is the possibility of some other occasional driving during the holiday periods for our Downsend Plus holiday club if wanted.
