We recognise the role we have in enhancing pastoral care, ensuring that children obtain nutritious, healthy & balanced meals to fuel their bodies and minds. We monitor national nutritional targets and incorporate them in our menu planning.
All Pre-Prep children, who attend for a whole day or for an afternoon, are served lunch.
All children are offered fresh fruit and milk or water at break-time.
Clare McCluskey, our school cook, provides exciting and nutritionally balanced lunches and all foods are prepared and cooked on the premises. We are therefore able to cater for specific dietary requirements.
The majority of the staff at Pre-Prep Ashtead are paediatric First Aid trained. In addition, all staff receive Epipen training and ‘what to do in the event of an asthma attack’ training at the beginning of each academic year.
