Last half term, members of the Year 3 and Year 4 UNICEF Club were expanding their knowledge about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aligned with the United Nations Rights of the child. In a proactive move, they wrote letters to Rishi Sunak, Prime Minster, addressing global pollution, climate change, and habitat loss . Their letters reflected a remarkable level of articulation, expressing genuine concerns about the impact of these issues and seeking information on the government’s forthcoming plans. Over the break, they received a response from Number 10, outlining the current policies and expressing gratitude for their efforts in raising awareness. Great work everyone involved.
